How
do you define an entrepreneur?
"A dream, an ambition, values that transcend mere money. Working
with a talented team bound by shared values to create an enterprise
that will make a real social contribution." This is how Yoshio
Ichiryu, founder of Ichiryu Associates, defines an entrepreneur. During
his tenure at Japan's Ministry of International Trade and Industry
(MITI), Ichiryu established a national incubation program for start-up
companies. It was then he came to believe , "Venture companies
will be what drive japan ahead in the 21st century." Some would-be
entrepreneurs start venture businesses with the aim of simply striking
it rich. Ichiryu Associates believes that is not enough. The Company
believes in creating alliances based on hard work with entrepreneurs
who share the same vision, with both sides maintaining the determination and
passion to make the enterprise succeed. Ichiryu Associates' work does
not end with financial assistance. We support venture companies hands-on.
We participate in all facets of management and help resolve the full
range of issues facing start-ups. These efforts help translate the
vision and ambitions of entrepreneurs into reality. |

Following Japan's "Big
Bang" financial reforms, direct financial markets such as the
Mother's and Hercules Japan stock exchanges have been created at a
rapid rate. As the next step in expanding their business, many entrepreneurs,
particularly those in the area of information technology, launching
initial public offerings(IPO). Ichiryu Associates is engaged in supporting
the further development of such companies, based on teamwork among
our patent team, technology analyst team and business team, which
comprise our "intelligent information network." The company
thus provides extensive services for every aspect of business, from
management strategy and capitalization policies to human resource
training and marketing. |
